Anticipatory Loss Group for Young Adults
Anticipating the death of a loved one brings many difficult and unique feelings of grief.  If you are a young adult (between the ages of 18-30) anticipating the death of a family member and looking for support, please join us as we find ways of navigating anticipatory loss, sharing our stories, and find ways to take care of ourselves during this time of transition and change.

Pregnancy & Infant Loss Support Group - Co-sponsored by Allina Health and Children’s Minnesota
The Pregnancy and Infant Loss Support Group helps parents whose baby has died through ectopic pregnancy, miscarriage, stillbirth or newborn death (shortly following birth or during an NICU stay). The group is made up of parents and is led by staff members from both Allina Health and Children’s Minnesota.  For information, please call or email Bereavement Services at  bereavement@childrensMN.org or 612-813-7216.

She Climbs Mountains/Girls Rise Up - Support for Motherless Daughters

This non-profit organization serves adult women and girls who have experienced mother loss at any age.  Workshops, informal gatherings and formal events encourage women and girls to explore the myriad of emotions and experiences that accompany the loss of a mother.  Participants are encouraged to grieve openly, share their stories, ask questions, nurture themselves and each other, examine the loss of their mothers and to seek joy and gratitude in a secure, supportive environment.

Talking Over Tea: Spouse/Partner Loss Group for Women
This peer-based support group is for adult women who have lost their spouse/partner.  It provides an opportunity to connect with others, share experiences and talk about topics brought up by participants. This group is facilitated by trained Brighter Days volunteers, Eileen Gregory and Jill Zweber who both have had similar personal experiences.

Wings For Widows
​Wings for Widows is a faith-based, non-profit organization focused on providing financial and legal counseling to widows in the first 12 months following the death of their spouse.  There is never a fee for the volunteer service.
